Mrs McMike thought it would be nice to set up a box of snacks for the delivery drivers last month.
Some took a snack and a water, some took a handful, and some just stopped by with no deliveries and ate.
I told her, “It’s just like feeding stray animals,
honey
... once they know that there’s food here, they’ll be no getting rid of ‘em.”

That's a version of that song I've never heard before. I'm impressed you got deliveries from Amazon directly. I've heard that such a thing exists, but I've never actually seen an Amazon delivery vehicle in the flesh. They don't seem to have made their way to the borderland yet.

Those UPS lads and the FedEx woman, stopping to get something while not delivering, is not the spirit of which it was intended.

The Moog Cookbook is worth a listen. They have two albums
. One is 90s grunge/alternative covers
, the other is classic rock.

Reminded me of those front porches that have an unattended candy bowl at Halloween with the sign that says “Please
Take Only
One”
Some
never do. :)

That happens here when I’m physically holding the bowl. “Ok kids, pick two pieces!” *kid grabs two fistfuls and makes a run for it*

We have an Amazon distribution center about two miles from our house. I see hundreds of those vans every single day.

1) The Vanagons are multiplying.
2) Jesus Christ, you got a lot of stuff delivered to your house.
That’s a nice gesture though. I know those drivers are getting a bad rap for speeding etc, but they have to work their asses off.
